Sukapura Opens Antigen Test Service Post for Returnees

The Sukapura Urban Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta opens a rapid antigen test post at its office, Jalan Tipar Cakung No. 17, Cilincing. It is dedicated to residents who just returned from their homecoming trip.

One tested positive for Covid-19 and the rest negative

Sukapura Urban Village Head, Abdul Rahman Hakim said it would open until May 31. In collaboration with the Sukapura Sub-district Puskesmas, today he had served 21 residents.

"One tested positive for Covid-19 and the rest negative. This positive resident has just returned from Cirebon. But his two children and wife are negative," he expressed, Monday (5/17).

He explained residents whose antigen swab test results were negative should undergo a self-isolation in their respective homes for 14 days. Meanwhile, those who were positive for Covid-19 would be referred to Wisma Atlet Kemayoran.

"Those who are positive will be first taken to the Cilincing Sub-district Puskesmas to be gathered with other positive residents from the seven urban villages in Cilincing. Then will be brought to Wisma Atlet Kemayoran," he explained.

Sukapura Urban Village Puskesmas Head, Lesti Harni added, to support antigen test post, a number of health workers had been sent to the Sukapura Urban Village Office.

"This antigen test post is opened at 8 AM to 3:30 PM. They (health workers) are divided into two shifts, at 8 AM to 1 PM (four persons) and at 1 PM to 3:30 PM (four persons). There are also PPSU members and RPTRA caretakers who have been trained how to conduct swab test, they are also useful in the registration section," she expressed.

She explained the results of the antigen swab test came out in about 15 minutes and after they came out the results were immediately conveyed to the residents concerned.

"We also approach people who do not want to be tested for the antigen swab by contacting via WhatsApp or telephone. If it is failed, we will do a forced pick-up," she asserted.

According to her, it was important to protect themselves and family. Her party also carried out the detection as early as possible and reminded residents that this was an effort to curb the transmission of Covid-19.

"Our hope is residents who have just returned home have a high awareness of carrying out antigen swab checks as this way can reduce the spread of Covid-19, especially in Sukapura area," she closed.
